上面那張圖是從Google Earth看到的日本東京，除了有非常精細的3D building外，竟然市區內的每棟建築、商店都標有名字和community提供的最新相關資訊，甚至連車站的每個出入口都看得到…。 有了這麼詳細的資訊，要規劃旅遊行程就方便多了。即使是完全沒去過的地方，也可以先用Google Earth來個虛擬逛街，逛到有興趣的地方就標起來，再也不用受限於旅遊書推薦的那一百零一個景點了。
